Thanks Kathi! Often we lose track of how important small things - especially in aggregate - are to our well being and to living life to its fullest. A delicious glass of wine is way up the list for me!

One of my very best wine experiences involved Lineage in a paper cup because that was all that was available. And it was glorious.

I've been lucky enough to have tasted some of the best Pinot Noirs in the world. And yet one of the most memorable was a beautiful Oregon Pinot that I drank from a metal water bottle as I floated on an innertube down the Clackamas river.

Sometimes the best vessel is what is available at the time. What matters most is that you enjoy the wine and the company around you, right? Wine can be taken very seriously or just simply enjoyed. One of the many things that makes it so wonderful.

What a lovely post! The only thing I would quibble with is the word "sometimes." If the goal is to taste something delicious and beautiful that gets you connected to the best and richest parts of you, then whatever you have with a bottom to it is the most important vessel of them all...ALL of the time.

Well put. It is all about enjoyment! If you want to go to another level, glasses can help. But not required. Thanks for your continued wisdom.

Thank you Wayne! Wine is so capacious that it will gladly encompass all the things we can bring to it. BUT...first - enjoyment!
