Livermore Puts Its Money Where Its Cab Franc Is

Livermore Valley community aligned with Cab Franc Identity

This may seem like “management speak” or some other such non-emotional business gobbledy-gook, but at that risk, I’ll just say that it appears that enough business interests have recently aligned to allow for a synergistic exploration of the concept of joint branding….blah, blah, blah.

The Livermore Valley Wine Community, the winegrowers association for Livermore Valley producers and growers, recently voted to name Cab Franc and Sauvignon Blanc as THE signature varieties for the Livermore Valley. What that means for the Valley was captured well here. And shortly after that vote, Beth and I helped lead the formation of the new Cab Franc Guild of Livermore Valley, a growing collection of wineries in Livermore devoted to creating a world-class identity for our growing area around Cab Franc.
