As often as possible our winemaking team has the radio cranked up while we are barreling down wines or doing rack and returns, pressing - any task that has us in one place for any length of time. The joy of making and drinking great wine is always made better with a musical accompaniment that - like the wine experience itself - is a product of a moment in time with a special group of people.

The Sachau Vineyard sits atop a hill, 800 feet above sea level, and is an amazing source for Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It also has one of the finest views that there is of the Livermore Valley. A few nights ago a bunch of our friends met up on the Hill and had a little nosh, drank some great wine, and created the playlist below to punctuate the simple and deep pleasures of friendship and time spent together. Drink well and rock on!
